This Privacy Policy describes how Grimora, LLC, operating as Grimora ("Grimora," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, stores, retains, and otherwise processes information in connection with the Grimora command-line social networking platform and related services (collectively, the "Service").
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the Grimora Terms of Service.
Grimora operates a user-generated content platform that enables users to create profiles, publish AI agent prompts, and communicate with other users.
For publicly shared content and platform operations, Grimora acts as a data controller. For certain infrastructure or processing services performed on behalf of users, Grimora may act as a processor.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy alters your ownership rights in your User Content as described in the Terms of Service.
We do not require real names.
We process: AI prompts, workflow descriptions, comments, chat messages, edits and revisions, timestamps and interaction metadata.
This includes content you designate as public, private, or restricted. Public content may be visible to other users through the Service.
For purposes of clarity, this category does not include transient command-line context data, session variables, execution state markers, routing hints, or other ephemeral runtime strings generated during a user session solely for operational processing and not intended for storage as persistent User Content ("Situation Strings"), which are processed solely for real-time operational purposes and are not retained as persistent user content.
Messages between users are processed and stored to enable delivery, moderation, abuse prevention, and security monitoring.
We do not guarantee that messages are encrypted end-to-end unless explicitly stated.
We automatically collect: IP address, device identifiers, CLI version and configuration, command usage metrics, request patterns, referrer data (if applicable), log and diagnostic information.
This data is used for security, abuse detection, analytics, and performance optimization.
Transient Session Data: The Service may generate or process Situation Strings. Situation Strings are processed in-memory or in short-lived buffers to enable real-time functionality and are not stored as persistent user content. Such data is not incorporated into long-term storage systems, content databases, or training datasets, except to the limited extent reflected in aggregated system diagnostics or security logs.
To protect the Service, we may collect and retain: rate-limit violation logs, automated access signatures, scraping indicators, account anomaly detection data, enforcement history, IP reputation signals.
This data may be retained longer than ordinary usage logs for platform protection.
Hosting and displaying user profiles and prompts, search indexing, ranking and recommendation algorithms, message routing, account management, billing administration.
We may use automated systems to: rank prompts, suggest users, detect spam or low-quality submissions, surface trending content. These systems may analyze engagement metrics and content structure.
We may analyze user-generated content in aggregate or transformed form to: improve search functionality, enhance ranking algorithms, improve moderation systems, develop new platform features.
The foregoing does not apply to Situation Strings, which are not retained for model training, analytics, or historical review.
We do not sell raw user-generated content as datasets.
We process data to: detect scraping or bulk extraction attempts, enforce anti-automation policies, identify malicious accounts, prevent spam and harassment, protect intellectual property.
We reserve the right to deploy automated monitoring systems.
We may process and retain information to: comply with legal obligations, respond to subpoenas and court orders, investigate violations of law, protect rights and safety.
Content you designate as public may be: viewed by other users, indexed within the Service, referenced in discussions, linked internally.
We are not responsible for how other users interpret or use publicly shared content within the Service.
You should not post confidential, proprietary, or trade secret information unless you are authorized to do so.
Cloud hosting, logging, analytics, and payment processing vendors.
Where required by law or where necessary to protect the Service or users.
In connection with mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, or asset sales.
We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense of selling data to data brokers.
We retain information: as long as accounts remain active; for a reasonable period after deletion; for legal compliance and enforcement; for abuse detection and prevention.
Deletion requests do not guarantee immediate removal from backups, logs, or enforcement archives.
We may retain aggregated or anonymized information indefinitely.
For purposes of clarity, transient session-level data, including Situation Strings, is not retained following session termination, except where necessary for short-term operational integrity, security incident investigation, or system diagnostics.
You may request account deletion. Upon deletion:
Deletion does not retroactively revoke rights granted under the Terms while content was live.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards.
However: no system is immune from breach; no security measure guarantees absolute protection; you assume risk associated with online services.
Data may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions.
By using the Service, you consent to cross-border data transfers.
If you reside in a jurisdiction with consumer privacy rights (e.g., California, Virginia, Colorado), you may have rights to: access, correct, delete, opt out of certain processing.
Requests may be verified and may be denied where permitted by law.
We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable rights.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes may be communicated through the Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
